La reconversió del terreny industrial de la Maquinista Terrestre i Marítima és una operació de desenvolupament urbà que es va dur a terme entre els anys 1998 i 2002 a Barcelona. Aquesta operació s’alinea amb altres operacions desenvolupades en els últims anys del segle XX a la ciutat i es relaciona amb l’últim període de l’anomenat Model Barcelona. L’article present tracta d’il·luminar la gestació, desenvolupament i execució del Pla, així com analitzar els efectes que ha tingut l’operació sobre el seu entorn immediat. L’article evidenciarà la naturalesa especulativa de l’Operació i la seva relació programàtica amb les polítiques d’àrees de nova centralitat, i mes concretament amb el pla Sagrera Sant-Andreu: un pla que pretén suturar la ciutat per allí on discorre la xarxa ferroviària en direcció Nord. D’altra banda, en el text s’analitza l’efecte segregador de l’operació, que quedarà materialitzada tant en el teixit urbà del territori, com en els seus indicadors sociodemogràfics. ; The reconversion of the Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima industrial state is an urban development Operation carried out between 1998 and 2002 in Barcelona. This Operation is in line with other operations carried out in the last years of the 20th century in the city and is related to the last period of the so-called Barcelona Model. This article aims to shed light on the gestation, development and execution of the Plan, as well as to analyse the effects that the operation has had on its immediate surroundings. The article will highlight the speculative nature of the Operation and its programmatic relationship with the policies of new central areas, and more specifically with the Sagrera Sant-Andreu plan, a plan that aims to suture the city where the train tracks pass in a northerly direction. On the other hand, the text analyses the segregating effect of the operation, which is materialised both in the urban fabric and in its socio-demographic indicators. ; La reconversión del terreno industrial de la Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima es ... |
