| الوصف: | International audience ; Between 1880 and 1980, France saw the arrival of several waves of Spanish migrants. This essentially border and agricultural immigration before the First World War diversified geographically and became part of the industry from 1915 and throughout the interwar period. After the massive arrival of anti-Franco exiles in 1939, from 1956, a new, immense wave of workers swept over French territory, carried by the attempts to control of Franco regime. At all these times, the “Spaniards of France” oscillated between community life, favored in regions with a strong presence, and integration into French society, in particular through trade union and political commitment. ; Entre 1880 et 1980, la France vit l’arrivée de plusieurs vagues de migrants espagnols. Cette immigration essentiellement frontalière et agricole avant la Première Guerre mondiale se diversifia géographiquement et s’inséra dans le tissu industriel à partir de 1915 et durant tout l’entre-deux-guerres. Après l’arrivée massive des exilés antifranquistes en 1939, à partir de 1956, une nouvelle vague, immense, de travailleuses et de travailleurs déferla sur le territoire français, marquée par les tentatives de contrôle du régime franquiste. A toutes ces époques, les «Espagnols de France » oscillèrent entre vie communautaire, favorisée dans les régions de forte présence, et intégration à la société française, notamment à travers l’engagement syndical et politique. |
