الوصف: One of the motor disorders that limits children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is balance disorders. Balance disorders in ASD children can be seen from the inability to maintain certain positions, swaying standing and also an unstable gait. Perceptual Motor Program is an exercise method to stimulate children's motor perception skills. Perceptual motor programs can improve the relationship between sensory and motor perceptions of children because tactile, visual, auditory, proprioceptive functions are improved, so that it will improve balance. This study aims to see the effect of giving perceptual motor programs in improving static and dynamic balance in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Autism Spectrum Disorder). ASD). This research is pre-experimental with a pre-test and post-test group design. This research was conducted at the Pradnyagama Foundation with a purposive sampling method. The total sample in this study amounted to 10 samples. The results of this study indicate that the Perceptual Motor Program improves static balance by 36.18% and dynamic balance by 124.59%. The results of the Wilcoxon test on static balance have a value of p=0.002 (p≤ 0.05) and the Paired sample test on dynamic balance has a value of p=0.001 (p≤ 0.05). The conclusion in this study is that giving a Perceptual Motor Program can improve static and dynamic balance in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children.
