الوصف: The objective is to identify the changes that the export pattern of Ecuador has experienced in dollarization. The analysis determines the shares of the groups of export products: primary versus industrialized, and petroleum versus nonpetroleum. New findings are also sought in the temporary triangles of foreign trade. Also, evaluate the Gini coefficient of exportable production. It is concluded that Ecuador has been immersed in a process of export diversification based mainly on primary non-oil production. It is presumed that it is possible to avoid the re-concentration of export production if the manufacturing industry is strengthened. ; El objetivo es identificar los cambios que ha experimentado el patrón exportador del Ecuador en dolarización. El análisis determina las participaciones de los grupos de productos de exportación: primarias frente a industrializadas, y petroleras frente a no petroleras. Nuevos hallazgos también se buscan en los triángulos temporales del comercio exterior. Además, se evalúa el coeficiente de Gini de la producción exportable. Se concluye que Ecuador se ha encontrado inmerso en un proceso de diversificación de exportaciones basado principalmente en la producción no petrolera primaria. Se presume que es posible esquivar la reconcentración productiva exportadora si se fortalece la industria manufacturera.
