الوصف: | This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the current situation of wheat production companies in Bingol province, identifying the problems they face, and providing solution recommendations. The material of the research consists of " Proportional Sampling Method” " forms conducted face-to-face with 181 wheat producers identified through the "Relative Sampling Method" in Bingöl province and its districts in August-September and October 2021. It was determined that the average area allocated for wheat production in the visited farms was 30 decares. The declared wheat yield in the investigated farms, depending on the land size, was found to be an average of 278 kg/decare. As a result of the study, it was determined that wheat is predominantly grown in rain-dependent conditions using conventional methods, with 97.1% of the surveyed farms growing winter wheat and 2.9% growing spring wheat. Due to low nitrogen usage and consequently low protein content in the grain, the product has limited marketing opportunities. It was found that the average age of participating producers is 58.8 due to the migration of the young population to urban centers. Despite high precipitation in the province, the desired yield level cannot be achieved mainly due to soil structure, unresponsive producer profile to innovation, and other reasons. It is possible to increase the yield to higher levels by addressing the problems through researcher, publisher, and producer cooperation, focusing on improving soil structure and developing cultivation techniques. On the other hand, considering the small land size and low fertilizer and pesticide usage rate, the province can be evaluated as an opportunity for organic farming, which can lead to higher profitability for producers. ; Bu çalışma; Bingöl ilindeki buğday üretimi yapan işletmelerin mevcut durumunu analiz etmek ve karşılaştıkları problemleri tespit ederek, çözüm önerileri getirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
