الوصف: Women Take Air Day Trip East: View Scenery From Sky - Mamer Praises New Kellogg Airport. ; WOMEN TAKE AIR DAY TRIP EAST View Scenery From Sky—Mamer Praises New Kellogg Airport. Flights from Pasco to Chicago by the Varney and Boeing lines were arranged here by the Spokane Travel bureau for Mrs. Jean Pickands and Miss Louise Empke of Cleveland, Ohio, who took off yesterday morning. Mrs. Pickands has been visiting Dr. and Mrs. John T. Bird and Miss Empke was at the Davenport. The visitors took a sea voyage that included passage through the Panama canal and a stay in Honolulu and flew up the Pacific coast. To view the scenery, they will board a day plane at Pasco today and at Salt Lake City for Chicago tomorrow morning, after passing a night in the Utah capital. The journey to Pasco was to have been by rail. Overtakes Train by Air. The operation of the Moscow Air Transport made it possible for Herman Wilson, a seed warehouse operator, to overtake a train and make a rapid journey from Moscow, Idaho, to Missoula, Mont., Saturday.
