| الوصف: | Dissertação para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Arquitectura, apresentada na Universidade de Lisboa - Faculdade de Arquitetura. A constatação de que a população está a envelhecer e que há falta de apoios para as gerações mais dependentes, tanto os mais novos como os mais velhos, leva à reflexão de como a arquitetura pode servir todas as gerações, proporcionando espaços de interação e convívio, oferecendo aos seus habitantes o sentimento de pertença, contribuindo ainda para a sustentabilidade dos equipamentos. Como aplicação do conceito, em “Um Habitar entre Gerações” pretende-se desenvolver um discurso crítico que culmina no desenvolvimento prático da reabilitação da Quinta de Santa Theresa, localizada em São Pedro de Penaferrim, para a criação de um lugar intergeracional, devolvendo ao território um conjunto agora carecido de identidade e essência. Na conceção de arquitetura, o ‘lugar’ apresenta-se como o elemento primário, como a base para o verdadeiro sentido no ato de construir. O tempo, elemento presente em qualquer espaço, pode ser encarado como um elemento relevante, que oferece características especificas a cada terreno, quer este esteja «vazio», com construção ou até mesmo repleto de várias presenças, quer sejam elas naturais ou não. Procurando alcançar uma arquitetura de relações entre o público e o privado, o natural e o edificado, o novo e o antigo, o espaço é entendido como uma unidade agregadora de experiências, onde o seu desenho, a sua forma, as suas texturas e as suas cores, potenciam as suas características, proporcionando aos utilizadores o verdadeiro ‘lugar’ para ‘habitar’. ABSTRACT: The statement that the population is getting older along with the fact that there is a lack of support for the most dependent generations, both young and elderly, leads to a line of thought of how architecture can serve all generations, providing spaces for interaction and socializing, offering its inhabitants a sense of belonging and, thus, contributing to the sustainability of equipment. As an application of the concept “a Dwelling between Generations” we aim to develop a critical speech that culminates in the practical development of rehabilitation of Quinta de Santa Theresa, located in São Pedro de Penaferrim, to create an intergenerational place, giving back identity and essence to the territory. In the design of architecture, the ‘place’ is presented as the primary element, as the basis for true meaning of the act of building. The time, present element in any area may be regarded as a relevant element, which offers specific characteristics of each field, if it is “empty” or not, or even filled with various appearances, whether they are natural or not. Looking to achieve an architecture of relations between the public and the private, the natural and built, what it is new or old, the space is seen as an aggregator unit of experiences, where its design, shape, texture and colors, enhance their characteristics, providing the users the real concept of “place to dwell’. |
