الوصف: | Two new species of free-living marine nematode were discovered in the intertidal silt beach along the coast of the Yellow Sea and they are described here as Trefusia brevicauda sp. nov. (Enoplida, Trefusiidae) and Conilia parasinensis sp. nov. (Enoplida, Ironidae). Trefusia brevicauda sp. nov. is characterized by three-jointed outer labial setae with basal two segments very thick; short cephalic setae situated at level of amphidial base, a longitudinal row of ten midventral cervical papillae, spicules sickle-shaped, cephalated proximally and pointed distally, 9-13 papilliform precloacal supplements, conico-cylindrical tail relatively short. Conilia parasinensis sp. nov. can be identified by its single striated spicule, broad funnel-shaped telamon, an obvious papillary precloacal supplement, conico-cylindrical tail with a large midventral swelling in the middle and two small ventral papillae in the conical region of tail. Updated keys to valid species of Trefusia and Conilia are provided. |
