الوصف: Geogrid has been widely used in composite foundations or embankments supported by rigid or rigid-flexible piles in the past two decades. However, the research on the deformation behavior of geogrid supported by rigid or rigid-flexible piles under cyclic loading are very limited. Some model tests on the deformation behavior of geogrid supported by rigid-flexible piles were designed and completed under cyclic loading with changing the load amplitude, waveform, and cyclic frequency. The geogrid strain at different locations in the different cyclic process was analyzed based on the model test results. The test results showed that the deformation behavior of geogrid varies with the location. The strain variation trends of geogrid under cyclic loading are consistent with that of applied cyclic load shapes/amplitude. When the waveform of cyclic load is changed singly, the strain of the geogrid will change accordingly. The geogrid strain amplitude at the edge of flexible pile under cyclic load frequency is the largest, and it is also most affected by the cyclic load amplitude.
