الوصف: | A numerical procedure to improve the performances of a Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes code by including an accurate prediction of the location of the transition onset is presented. A transition prediction module is coupled with the Ansys Fluent flow solver. The transition location is predicted by coupling numerical methods based on the solution of the boundary layer equations in conical formulation, transition engineering criteria well assessed for boundary layer flows and the solution of RANS equations. |
