Some recent, still ongoing, research projects testify to the importance of the relationship between built heritage and climate change and of the increasing interest of governments, supranational organizations, conscious that the conservation of the architectural heritage is linked to the fundamental values of the social and intellectual life of the nations (Deland, Sadegh, and Sina ). We recall, for instance, the projects funded by the European Union within the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change and by the Cultural Heritage H2020-EU. 1
