مصطلحات موضوعية: Voltammetric behavior of dantrolene sodium (Dan) was comparatively investigated in Britton Robinson (BR) buffer as electrolyte at pencil graphite (PGE) and glassy carbon (GCE) electrodes, cyclic voltammetry (CV) gave one reversible cathodic anodic peak at -0.302, 0.249 V at PGE and -0.257, 0.178 V at GCE respectively and another irreversible cathodic one at -0.748 at PGE and -0.694 V at GCE. Differential pulse (DPV) and square wave (SWV) voltammetry were investigated for the reversible cathodic peak and gave at PGE, linearity range from 0.395-2.955 and 0.395-1.9 µg/mL with correlation coefficient 0.999 for both, LOD 0.09 and 0.052µg/mL, LOQ 0.273 and 0.158 µg/mL, respectively and at GCE, linearity range from 0.974- 2.44 and 0.199- 2.96 µg/mL with correlation coefficient 0.999 for both, LOD 0.167 and 0.095 µg/mL, LOQ 0.507 and 0.289 µg/mL, respectively. The proposed procedures were successfully applied to the determination of Dan with good recovery in pharmaceutical dosage form, human mother milk and urine directly without any pretreatment at both electrodes. The techniques were validated and revealed good accuracy and reproducible results. This study was conducted with 254 patients. Patient Information Form, Illness Perception Scale (IPS), Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ), 9-item European Heart Failure Self-Care Behaviors Scale (EHFScB), were used to collect data. Data were analyzed with SPSS Windows 22 program. In this study, 79.9% of the patients participating were male and 20.1% were female, the mean age of the patients was found to be 58.40±14.38 years. IPS sub-dimension mean scores of the patients, disease symptoms (type-identity) sub-dimension 5.30±2.20, timeline (acute / chronic), belonging to the opinions about the disease sub-dimension is 19.28±3.13, consequences '19.70±4.59, personal control 17.44±4.11, treatment control 17.44±2.93, understanding the disease 13.74±4.33, timeline (cyclical) 13.96±4.39, emotional representations 15.83±5.91, psychological causal attributions of the probable causes sub-dimension 13.59±5.74, risk factors 16.81±5.03, immunity 6.50±3.18, accident or injury were determined as 3.79±1.88. While MLHFQ scale mean score 41.16±21.54, the mean score of the 9-item EHFScB was determined as 15.22±6.21. A significant correlation was found between IPS results and physical function sub-dimensions of MLHFQ (r, 0.350, p<0.001). It was determined that there was a significant positive correlation between MLHFQ physical function and IPS timeline (cyclical) (r, 0.178
